A combined 40 years experience in the trade has given us the grounding necessary to operate a now successful business, covering all aspects of the plumbing industry from household and commercial plumbing right through to the largest industrial projects. Works undertaken range from hot and cold water to gasfitting, chilled water, air conditioning, steam and compressed air.

One important facet of Eagle and Storks' ability to carry out quality first installations is that all pipe insulating is also provided. Our experienced staff install new or replace old pipe insulation with the latest products, providing the client with maximum energy consumption reductions, which is a huge benefit in these times of cost cutting and environment resource awareness.

Projects carried out over the last few years include the Cairns Civic Theatre chiller and cooling tower upgrade, Club Tropical Port Douglas cooling tower replacement, Stocklands Earlville Cinema 6 complex, State Government offices in Cairns, Acacia Court chiller and cooling tower replacement and currently the redevelopment of Cazaly's AFL Club.

A variety of other contracts have been completed such as Glenmead Retirement Village and Bentley Park College. In addition to this, valued relationships have been developed with Hilton Hotel Cairns, where works include cooling tower replacement of an extremely difficult nature. Eagle and Stork are proud to provide a service to other hotels as well, such as the Radisson, where out-of-hours breakdowns with minimum disruption to paying customers are of prime consideration.

High on the list of future priorities is training of apprentices in the specialised field of mechanical services plumbing to better the industry in the cairns region.

Darren has over 26 years experience associated with all facets of the air-conditioning, mechanical service, process pipework and plumbing industry serving an apprenticeship with Melbourne based company A.E.Smith Pty Ltd in 1977.

Darren is an integral part of Eagle and Stork and brings many attributes which include estimating and project management of small to large projects whilst always maintaining the understanding and requirements of the customer.

Jimmy has 14 years experience and a sound knowledge of all the associated plumbing, drainage and gasfitting industry. Jimmy also served his apprenticeship in Melbourne with K&V Plumbers Pty Ltd.

Jimmy started with Eagle and Stork in January 2003 and had worked for Hedley Plumbing Pty Ltd in Cairns, Queensland for the previous 7 years. He also brings a wealth of experience which includes hands-on work to foreman qualities on such projects as Mornington Island Hospital, Bamaga Hospital and DPI Aquaculture Centre, Portsmith, Cairns, Queensland.
